My guest is someone who has stepped out from behind big brands to creating a brand of her own. Natalie Coulson is a content marketer with a passion for personal branding. She helps small business owners promote themselves more confidently.

Starting out working for big brands, Natalie had to get used to being the brand and admits that this is not always easy. But as someone who has travelled this path personally – she knows exactly what it feels like, what works and what doesn’t so she is able to share this with her clients and she is sharing her insights with us today.

She talks about the importance of sharing our lived experiences and how that sets us apart, and really standing for something and not “being beige”.

Nat learnt the hard way that people pleasing and burning the candle at both ends was not the ticket to success – it led to burn out for her and she speaks very openly about how she manages your mental health alongside her role as a business owner, parent and partner.
